I bought about 14 of these for two different WB hammock set ups. They are very light and have good holding ability. In the Boundary Waters, which generally has very rocky camp sites, they worked well. But at home putzing with hammocks and tarps in the backyard in soft, moist soil I have had two bend and snap at the narrow parts of one the cut -out holes. I suspect when I pressed them into the ground I applied too much side pressure and bent the stake vs. pushing very straight in line with the stake. I have also had to bend a couple back to straight in a bench vise but they at least didn’t break. So I rate them so-so (3 of 5 stars) and recommend being a little careful when sinking in the ground and bringing an extra or two. At least they are light so the extra 1-2 isn’t a terrible weight penalty.
