I’ve been backpacking with a tent for almost 50 years and I’m somewhat new to hammocking. I have learned quickly that having the correct pitch makes a huge difference in comfort. I’ve also learned that getting it right by eye can be tricky. This little gadget, which weighs next to nothing has taken the quess work out of it. Once I got it set per the directions, I have found my set ups to be quick and consistent. Great product and I highly recommend it.

Mixed feelings on this one. The idea is great and I look forward to using it but I wish that I had known that this was 3D printed before purchasing it. This may not matter to some people but I’ve got a 3D printer myself and wouldn’t have added it to my hammock purchase had I known that it wasn’t injection molded.

Gave one of these as a gift and bought myself one, got to admit, I had my doubts at first. The initial “in and out” of the hammock trying to figure it out and setting it was frustrating and took over an hour, I almost gave up. Once we figured it out though, we were on our way. After finding our “sweet spot” and marking the hammock (Blackbird XLC) we packed up and moved to a new spot. It took less than 10 minutes and we were setup and in the hammocks!!
