Ive made 10-12 baffled down quilts (4-5 under) and this is one of the more beautiful and functionally designed under quilts I’ve seen!

Sleeping in the Lynx is like being wrapped in a warm cocoon. No cold spots, no fiddly adjustments.

The logo goes on the head end, correct?
Warbonnet Outdoors (verified owner) –
The logo of the quilt goes on the head end of the hammock(no logo on the hammock body) the foot end of the hammock has the logo, and this is where the ends of the quilt with the elastic bands attach.

There needs to be a second video to show where the underquilt carabiners attach on the 2020 and later Ridgerunners.
Warbonnet Outdoors (verified owner) –
The micro carabiners attach in the same spot, except the material is black, and white, instead of solid black. The pole tips are inserted into the dogbones, which the Ridgerunner picture gallery shows the difference between the old, and new style. We will be updating videos in the future, Thank you

Bought a 20-degree full-length quilt. Super easy to install. I found that it is substantially warmer to have the quilt alone on vs. the quilt with an insulated pad in as well. I have taken it down to 22 degrees with zero issues. Very highly recommended.
Warbonnet Outdoors (verified owner) –
If you want to use the Lynx UQ plus a pad, then always lay directly on the pad, do not put it between the layers if also using an underquilt.

I really wrestled with this purchase ; however it’s an investment you cannot go without. Its the perfect compliment to the RR and IMO a must have. It’s like sleeping on a cloud, fits like a glove and was very easy to set up. I grabbed a large stuff sack and the entire kit fits. RR, UQ, spindrift. My only regret is not getting the entire kit in one shot. (shipping to Canada isn’t cheap)
Jonathan Case (verified owner) –
As with all their gear, an extremely well-thought-out piece of gear. Fits perfectly, provides great coverage on the RR, and super warm.

Just received my 0 degree Lynx. It arrived in about a week, fantastic ! It really is a breeze to hook this UQ up. Just flip your Ridgerunner , clip the supplied clips to your suspension and flip the hammock back over ! No fiddling and tweaking, so nice. And it stays in place nice. The first time I set it up it was in the basement, I got my top quilt in there laid in the hammock and fell asleep ! I really can’t wait to hang for real outside. Having had a blackbird, super nice hammock. But I truly sleep much better in the Ridgerunner. Thank you Warbonnet for continued great customer service and most of all superior products !

I have been using a 20° lynx underquilt for two years now. I camp at least four nights a month and use the ridgerunner almost every time. The seal you get with this underquilt is matched by no either, except for maybe the new wooki which I have not tried. I have a gathered end hammock and no matter how thick the quilt I cannot not get the consistent warmth I do with the lynx and ridgerunner. This set up is the most simple and user friendly way to hammock with a hassle free quilt hang. I just ordered a 0° and man is it beautiful. The 20* is surprisingly warm for its weight and I can only imagine how great this 0* will be. Thanks Warbonnet!

I recently purchased the ridgerunner, bushwack camo cloudburst and bushwack camo lynx full winter UQ.
First off I love how it looks, and how easy it is to setup. There is no guess work or fiddling, flip the hammock, clip it in, DONE!
I can’t really say how accurate the rating is or how it compares to other UQ, as this is my first UQ.
I’m also not a seamstress, so I won’t gush over the stitching (tho there’s nothing that sticks out to my untrained eye). What I can say is down to 50s with a light top layer I was toasty warm, and for what it is it packs down fairly small. I probably will be buying a warmer weather one (maybe even torso length) for space and weight savings.
Over all it’s pricey but very nice, so far I’m happy with everything from warbonnet, Thanks !

I reviewed the Warbonnet Lynx 20-degree under quilt underneath my RidgeRunner hammock between 14-22 degrees outside winter temperatures Jan-2017 (see below YouTube link for video review). Although the Lynx seems compact, lightweight, and a quick install on the bottom of the hammock (all positives), I found it to be a little on the cold side regarding the area between my neck and lower back for its “20 degree” rating. I felt at the time of my test that a 25-degree lower end rating seemed more realistic. Granted, I was testing it at its lower temp limit so maybe I should cut it a little slack. If you will be down near 20 degrees or even slightly lower, you will definitely need to augment the Lynx under quilt with probably a 40″ x 22″ piece of blue foam laid perpendicular to your body in order to keep your back, shoulders, and elbows adequately warm. To be safe if it were me, and using the Lynx, I would always take the extra piece of foam pad for any trip temperatures that looked like they would dip under 30-degrees. Above 30-degrees, I would think the Lynx would work fine with no other “under” insulation needed.

I have been waiting to post this review until I actually used the UQ. I used it last night and it is phenomenal. This UQ couldn’t be easier to set up on the Ridge Runner Hammock. I didn’t have any cold spots, it packs down extremely small and the weight is minimal. For full review go to http://www.trekparents.com

This is to follow-up on my earlier review. Up to that point I was able to use my Lynx (3 season) a few times, however the temperatures were not that cold. In the past couple of months I was able to get out with the quilt in temperatures that were more in the range it is rated for. The first time out it was in the high 20’s (F) and the quilt worked well. The second trip it was 23F at time I got in hammock and eventually went down to 10F. In the middle of the night I added a pad and was warm until I got up. At that time it was 18F, so in my book this quilt is good to 20F as stated. In fact, since it actually performed at the rated temperature, I ordered the 4 season quilt and can leave the pad home in the coming months. I continued to be impressed with the quality of WB gear.

Don’t over think this – this is EXACTLY the right under quilt for your Ridge runner. Couldn’t be easier to put on and fit is perfect. My Lynx 3 season Has made a huge difference in my hammock comfort.

I purchased the Lynx 3-season full length quilt for my Ridgerunner hammock after having used other quilts that work with gathered end hammocks, up to this point. The fit of the Lynx is spot on and it is as easy to attach as the video describes. The fact that there are no adjustments in the middle of the night is a big plus. I have only been able to take it on two trips thus far and have not really had any temperatures below 45* F yet, so that will need to be tested after Labor Day. However both trips were in the 45-53* range at least one night and I was concerned it might be it would be too warm, but that was not the case. Testing will tell, but if I can get this UQ down below 30* without issue, but if that is true then it would be a 5 star. If the Ridgerunner is your choice of hammock or used frequently, I think the Lynx is a good investment to simplify your setup.

This is the first hammock under-quilt that I have ever used that required no adjustment, fiddling, fine-tuning, experience. Just clip it on , and it works (perfectly) I used this on a recent 10-day hike in Maine, and experienced comfortable sleep, very quick setup and takedown, and lots of envious stares. I found that you can simplify packing by leaving it attached to the hammock and just stuffing both in the same sack on the trail.

I have had my ridge runner hammock for almost two years and always use a neo air pad with it. I compare the comfort to sleeping on a cloud. However most of my trips are in Arkansas and in winter months which are usually excellent conditions for cool backpackin. I have struggled to stay warm enough while sleeping, not anymore. I ordered the full length four seasons lynx underquilt and now I stay warm and cozy through the night. The product, like all Warbonnet products, is high quality. And now my cradle rocks!!!

I’m not sure what I can add to other’s comments but to say the Lynx full length under quilt is an amazing bit of kit. It fits the Ridgerunner perfectly with no fiddling or adjustment. Just clip it on and you are done. I did have a hard time deciding whether to order the full length quilt or not, but glad I did in the end. It packs down amazingly small.

The lynx underquilt is very easy to attach to the bottom of the ridgerunner hammock, leaving no air gaps. Tested it down to about 25 degrees and it’s very warm considering how light and small it packs down to.
Grant MacManus –
The fit on this quilt is perfect. Because the quilt fits so wonderfully, the warmth and comfort are perfect as well. You cannot beat the warmth of the Lynx if you lay in a Ridgerunner. If you aren’t sleeping in a Ridgerunner you should buy one and get a Ridgerunner to go above it!

The short Lynx fits the RidgeRunner perfectly. I was unsure about getting a torso lenght under quilt, but on Brandon’s recommendation I did. It works exactly like he said it would. No cold spots in mid 30 degree temps with just a short foot pad. The construction and materials are first class. I am so impressed with Warbonnet Equipment.

I purchased this to replace my Hammock Gear Incubator. I wanted the underquilt that was made for my ridgerunner. I didn’t expect a big difference, but this thing fits perfect. I immediately could tell how much better it fit. There is the perfect amount of tension. I didn’t like the big rubber bands used to provide the tension at first, but after using it, they work perfectly. There is no need for anything else since it fits so good.

I recently received a two door multicam Spindrift together with a zero degree Lynx underquilt from Warbonnet. Both items are very nicely made. Used them the day I received them. The Lynx is ridiculously easy to hang (four supplied mini carabiners – clip them to the suspension and you’re done — no adjusting of anything needed). It is warm! I have the full length Lynx and highly recommend it for the Roadrunner.
I have been very impressed with the quality of products rcvd from Warbonnet — enough that I caved in last night and ordered the Blackbird as well.
